Easter Food Festival
We love to celebrate Easter with a
festival that brings together some
of Kent’s finest food, drink and
craftspeople on Victoria Gardens
and promenade. This enviable cliff
top setting, with its views across
Viking Bay, is the icing on our
festival cake.
The Festival Marquee, on Victoria Gardens,
has a full programme of art, craft and
demonstrations for all ages. There will be
Easter crowns to colour (Sunday) and even a
visit from the Easter Bunny (Saturday). Local
poets will be sharing their foodie-poems in
the Curiosity Café, Harbour Street, Friday 3rd
April. Join in as a writer or as a listener, equally

There will be a superb range of highquality products with delicious food and
drink offerings, gorgeous gifts, crafts and
homewares. This is your chance to meet
the producers who are more than happy
to chat about their wares, offering a chance
to sample before you buy. Think lush jams,
chutneys and relishes from local orchards;
cheese from Kent dairy herds and spirits
distilled in the heart of the county. All in
one place, from 3rd to 5th April – and
free-to-attend.
We hope you will take time to enjoy the
festival during the day and then, a meal in
the evening at one of the many restaurants,
cafes, bistros and bars that line the streets.
Broadstairs is blessed with a plethora
of independent retailers so do make
time to explore the town.
